Polly Gilbert

Polly joined Tembo in early 2021 as part of the founding team, and leads on brand, acquisition and partnerships. A well-known name in the fintech marketing world, Polly was recognised in the Top 30 Most Influential Marketers in 2022 and 2023 (Barclays Rise). Known internally as "Polly from the telly", she has gained a reputation as one of the leading experts in the UK's mortgage and housing market, and regularly features on BBC, ITV, Sky News, Channel 5. Separately to Tembo, Polly is the co-founder of TAP London, a tech-for-good organisation. Now run by the Mayor of London, TAP has raised over £1,000,000 for homelessness and provided hundreds of hours of employment for homeless Londoners.

What does home look like for you?
"We made it onto the property ladder in 2021 (thank you stamp duty holiday), and bought a mid-terrace in East London. Home is fussing over tomato plants in the garden at the weekend, chatting with my neighbours over the fence & having the space to invite friends and family over to explore the sights of Leyton."
